Top Ten Tuesday – Books On My Fall 2019 TBR Buy List

The Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly challenge post previously hosted by The Broke and Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. You can follow along for each weekly post here. This week’s post is all about the TBR books for fall of 2019. I did twist it just a tiny bit to the books that are on my list to BUY this fall to add to my never ending TBR list!

Exile From Eden by Andrew Smith

The highly anticipated sequel to Grasshopper Jungle came out today and I’m broke as a joke but I can’t wait to get my hands on this so I can finally read to see what happens! The first book was SO weird and I’m ready for more of it.

Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell

I thought it was the coolest thing ever when Rainbow said she was going to be writing Carry On from Fangirl. Now there’s a sequel where my boys Simon and Baz are headed to America and I’m just so insanely stoked for it. Simon and Baz are my Drarry dreams coming true.

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

I am so insanely excited about this book for many reasons – One, its Leigh. Two, its her adult debut. Three, she’s been talking about this book for so long that I feel like I’m overdue to get it in my actual hands.

Rebel by Marie Lu

I was already excited for this book as it is because I remain firm in my belief that Marie wrote the best dystopian trilogy when dystopia was the BIGGEST thing. But I just reread the entire trilogy and now I’m even more excited because god, those books are just so so good. I also preordered a personalized signed copy so there’s that too!

The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L Armentrout

I also preordered a signed, personalized copy of this book and it comes with a super cool book beau so that’s already good stuff. But the first book was so good, I loved being back in the Lux series world and I can’t wait to be back in it again.

Supernova by Marissa Meyer

Marissa is easily one of my favorite authors of all time – the Lunar Chronicles does that on its own. But this series is fantastic and I’ve loved being part of the crew to spread the word and I can’t wait to see how it all ends. I also really love the twist on Nova’s name in the title.

Starsight by Brandon Sanderson

Okay, I know, to be fair, I need to read the first book before I read this one, obviously. That doesn’t mean that I’m not going to totally buy this book when it comes out though. Plus Brandon will probably come to San Diego again and I’m here for it.

Nightwalker: The Graphic Novel by Marie Lu and Chris Wildgoose

I’m not even a huge Batman fan – she says, as she’s writing this in a Batman tank top LOL – but I adore Marie, obviously, and I really loved this novel so I can only imagine that the graphic novel is going to be SOOOO cool. Its a must-own item.

10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston

I’ve heard nothing but great things about this book over the past couple months and it hasn’t even come out yet. It sounds super cute and I love the multiple different dates idea and I’m here for it. I’ve been on a huge contemporary kick and it seems like a must buy for sure.

Finale by Stephanie Garber

Okay technically this book doesn’t come out this fall BUT I did finally reread Caraval and now I’m reading Legendary and so I’ll need to buy Finale this fall so I can read it and finally finish this series haha!
